Are daytime catered events scheduled when the ships are open to the general public?
Yes. Luncheons on YORKTOWN's hangar bay level are held on a routine basis. The largest section (Hangar Bay III) accommodates large groups but its location offers nice separation from most visitors. All hangar bay options can be partitioned off.

What about after hour's events?
Event venues aboard YORKTOWN and the other ships of Patriots Point are routinely available Sunday through Thursday. The "evening time block" is generally 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Friday and Saturday events are very popular but require greater coordination because of other shipboard activities including the Overnight Camping Program. Guest services representative Angie Bennett is pleased to offer details. Toll free (866) 831-1720. Email: groupreservations@patriotspoint.org.

Patriots Point has audio/video equipment but can we bring our own equipment?
Yes

Is the flight deck open for catered event guests?
Yes, if weather allows. For safety reasons the flight deck is closed at 9:00 p.m.

Are museum tour routes included when booking an event venue?
No. For safety reasons the tour routes are not open to groups. However, arrangements can be made in advance for a nominal fee.

Can our group book guided tours?
Yes. In fact, it's recommended if your group plans on including museum tour routes.

Please, advance notice is appreciated. Many of our guides, Navy veterans, are volunteers.
