Flight Deck

The crown jewel of the Patriots Point experience, YORKTOWN's flight deck offers breathtaking views of Charleston Harbor, the downtown Historic District, the Ravenel Bridge and Fort Sumter. Feel the cool, refreshing sea breeze as you stand on the flight deck, towering some ten stories over the harbor. Surrounded by magnificent war birds such as the F-14 Tomcat and S-3 Viking, the flight deck handles with ease groups as large as 1,800 people.

Hangar Bay Level

Everywhere you look the proud history of the United States Navy is on display including a collection of rare, extremely valuable WWII and Korean War aircraft. The Hangar Bay level has hosted some of the most memorable, historic catered events in Charleston's modern era! With remarkable flexibility, the Hangar Bay level can host small groups of less than a hundred people as well as large scale events of 1,500 people.

Fantail

Located in the rear (aft) section of YORKTOWN, the fantail is an enormously popular venue for more intimate groups up to approximately 150 people. With the overhead, aft section of the flight deck providing shelter from the elements, the view from the fantail includes the other ships of the Patriots Point battle group, the beautiful

Charleston Harbor Marina, the downtown Historic District and the shimmering harbor.

Ward Room

This climate controlled venue offers a sense of style. The Ward Room is where YORKTOWN's officers dined. Perfect for smaller groups up to 75 people, the Ward Room has been a popular choice for business retreats, meetings and classic gatherings.

Theater

Offering seating for 220 people and capable of handling the most sophisticated audio/visual challenges, the theater on board YORKTOWN is a gem. The theater has played host to events as diverse as press coverage and seminars hosted by corporate giants. The YORKTOWN theater is the solution to complicated logistics.
