Guests now have access to spaces that were not previously available, including the Admiral’s Quarters, providing perspective on past life on board a Navy ship. The new South Pier area provides a breezy waterside setting, with room for dining and dancing under Carolina blue skies or the stars.

What types of venues do you have available at Patriots Point?

There are many spaces available on board the YORKTOWN and on our grounds, suitable for a wide variety of events. Some spaces are indoors on board the ship, and either open to weather or enclosed. Others are outside, off the ship. Some spaces are climate controlled. We are likely to have at least one space that will be ideal for your group size and other needs.

What are the costs of renting the venue?

Rental prices are quoted upon request and based on spaces used for the event. A basic guideline to prices for all of our spaces is available. Additionally, audio/visual, parking, optional tours, and other costs are itemized and available for your review while planning your event.

How do I hold a date?

After a client expresses firm interest in a space, the desired date of your event will be placed on hold, while space availability is checked and confirmed. Once the client approves the reservation, Patriots Point will send a contract, and a 50% deposit of the total fee is required. Deposits are non-refundable; but in the event that you must cancel, this amount can be applied to a future event. What time can my event start and end?

Rental fees are based on a three to five-hour event. See our Location Fees list for specifics for each space. Overtime charges will be incurred for each additional hour or portion thereof. Generally, events may be scheduled 6AM-10:30PM, subject to compatibility, availability, and other Patriots Point functions.

Is there parking available for guests at the venue?

Parking is available at the Patriots Point parking lot, within walking distance of all venues. Parking is charged at $5 per vehicle per day.

Do you have a caterer?

Yes. Corporate Events and Catered Affairs is Patriots Point's caterer. If you choose to use the Patriots Point caterer, your venue rental cost will be greatly reduced. We also offer a list of approved caterers. You may also select your own caterer, subject to approval by Patriots Point for basic suitability. Please discuss other needs, such as bartending or tables/chairs, with Patriots Point, for guidance.
