Youth Overnight Camping Tops 22,000 Guests!

Thanks to all of our guests who have participated in the Youth Overnight Camping Program at Patriots Point. We wrapped up our latest fiscal year with 22,512 campers sleeping on board USS Yorktown. One of our best years ever!

“Patriot Day” 2008 will begin at 8:30 am Thursday, September 11th on board the USS Yorktown. This solemn event is offered as a memorial and remembrance of the 2,998 deaths and more than 6,291 injuries that occurred that horrible day.

Motorcyclists to escort Wreaths Across America

Patriots Point will conduct a short kickoff ceremony for the hundreds of motorcyclists who will be escorting the "Wreaths Across America" which will be placed on veteran's grave sites at the Beaufort National Cemetery.
