Starlight Pops at The Grove at Patriots Point

This year, First Federal chose The Grove area at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum on Charleston Harbor as the site of the event.

Piccolo Spoleto Events at Patriots Point

Patriots Point has teamed up with Piccolo Spoleto this year to present ‘Art & Music in Times of War,’ May 25-June 10 that includes a unique mixed-media art display and special events.

USS LAFFEY Homecoming Celebration at Patriots Point
Posted: Apr 12, 2012Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will celebrate the return of the USS LAFFEY with a series of events April 13 – 15. The public is invited to attend to pay tribute to ‘The Ship That Would Not Die’ – the most decorated WWII-era destroyer still in existence. Ninety former crewmembers, including several who served during WWII, will be present for this special weekend of programs and events.

Clemson ‘Prowl and Growl’ Meeting April 24
Posted: Apr 12, 2012Clemson University fans and alumni in the Charleston area will come to this year’s “Prowl and Growl” meeting April 24 at Patriots Point to get the latest information on what’s happening at Clemson. The event will be held aboard the USS YORKTOWN on Charleston Harbor at 40 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant. Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m., and the event at 6:45 p.m.

Patriots Point Adding “Final Touches” To USS LAFFEY; To Reopen 4/11
Posted: Apr 06, 2012Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum announced Friday that the USS LAFFEY will be closed to the public for the next several days as staff complete final improvements to ‘The Ship That Would Not Die’ in advance of the USS LAFFEY Homecoming Party next weekend.

Patriots Point to Host Starlight Pops April 28
Posted: Apr 03, 2012Starlight Pops has been a Lowcountry tradition for more than 25 years. This year’s event will begin at sundown and will feature a tribute to Broadway by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (CSO), under the direction of Alex Agrest. The performance will include selections from Mamma Mia, Chicago, Guys & Dolls, Annie and West Side Story. This year, Lowcountry vocalist Nancy Clayton Lefter will join the CSO for several songs.
