Patriots Point Hosts Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Training

asmith Jan 11, 2013

Law enforcement officers representing more than thirty agencies across the state gathered aboard the USS Yorktown on Friday, January 11 to participate in a seminar on aggressive criminal enforcement.

Throughout the day, the attendees – more than 225 in total – will hear remarks from Sherriff Al Cannon and Mount Pleasant Police Chief Carl Ritchie, as well as special presentations. Coordinated by SGT Pat Carter of the Mount Pleasant Police Department, the seminar is a way for the agencies to gain valuable skills and to share best practices in a unique setting.

In recognition of the support they provide to the community, Patriots Point is offering the use of the Yorktown free of charge.photo 2
