Johnson VA Medical Center and SC Department of Employment and Work Force, provides valuable information and support for the men and women who have sacrificed so much on behalf of our nation.”

“Our Welcome Home is an excellent opportunity for the VA and the community to thank all of our Veterans for serving their country and welcome home our returning service members,” Scott Isaacks, acting director of the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC, said in a statement.

The Ralph H. Johnson VAMC reported that in 2011, more than 260 Veterans participated in the event along with an unprecedented 75 employers, area college representatives and community organizations from around the Lowcountry offering information about job and education opportunities.
