To assist visitors with physical challenges, an automated lift is available to reach the USS YORKTOWN hangar deck level.
Funding has been provided to construct a passenger elevator providing greater ease in reaching YORKTOWN's hangar deck and flight deck levels to be finished
and available to visitors in late spring or early summer 2007.
At this time, the YORKTOWN flight deck and multi-level tour routes as well as the destroyer LAFFEY, Coast Guard cutter INGHAM and submarine CLAMAGORE may be
difficult for guests with physical limitations.
