All Hands on Deck

  • March 27, 2022
  • 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Deadline to Register: March 11, 2022

Join Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum and the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium for a "brunch and learn" educator science café aboard the USS Yorktown and surrounding Shem Creek! Part 2: Shem Creek (1:00 pm - 2:30 pm): This optional part of the café will provide an opportunity to practice skills learned during Part 1 using the beautiful backdrop of Shem Creek.

Session supplies, educational resources, and brunch provided. Space is limited and registration is required by March 11, 2022. Questions can be sent to Hannah Giddens.

2021 - 2022 "Quarantrivia: Test Your S.C. Environmental Knowledge!"

Calling all educators! It’s time to roll out our second season of Quarantrivia – a free, socially-distanced, virtual trivia evening designed to test your knowledge on S.C.’s amazing environmental resources. • Network with educators across the state as well as members of the Environmental Education Association of South Carolina and the South Carolina Marine Educators Association
  • Access trivia questions for use with your students
  • Learn how trivia topics are aligned with S.C. State Science Standards, including life science, physical science, Earth science and chemistry
