Blue Angels arrive in the Lowcountry with Fleur-de-lis!

Waring Hills Apr 15, 2010

Notice the "fleur-de-lis" of light, how do the Blues do that?

The Blues arrived a little ahead of schedule as they made their initial passes over USS Yorktown at 10:08 AM on the Fighting Lady’s 67th birthday today, 15 April. As they arrived from Navy Pensacola they made their initial orientation passes over Yorktown and the Charleston Harbor area where they will be conducting their airshow on Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to 3 PM. Below is the air show box where they will be performing their aerial manuevers…

They will return for practice this afternoon around 2 PM and also have a practice show tomorrow. It is going to be great weather this weekend for a great show to end up our great Navy week!
