Fun & Adventure in the Flight Academy Summer Camp
Chris Hauff Jun 18, 2014Flying a F-35B fighter jet is no easy task, just ask any one of the dozen or so 11-15 year olds who have been learning to fly the aircraft in the Patriots Point Flight Academy all week.
The young pilots in the academy train through a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) based program. The curriculum not only teaches the principles of flight, but also: aviation history, military communication history, carrier history, leadership skills and weather.
The Flight Academ y Summer Camp incorporates state of the art technology in the immersive and aviation-inspired 4-day program. The cost is just $165 per camper. To book a spot in the July 21-25 camp, please click here.
