HBO invites you to thank our Veterans and Active Military The Pacific, a 10-part miniseries event, executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, the producers of Band of Brothers, tracks the intertwined journeys of three U.S. Marines – Robert Leckie, Eugene Sledge and John Basilone across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theater during World War II. The Pacific takes an unflinching “under the helmet” look at the experiences of these men and their brothers in arms.
