Patriots Point to Honor Veterans, Families Nov. 12
patriotspoint Nov 02, 2012In honor of Veterans Day and those who have served as members of our armed forces, Patriots Point will offer free admission for all veterans and their families all day on Monday, November 12. A $5 per vehicle parking fee will still apply.
“We are grateful for the patriotism and courage shown by the servicemen and women who have served our nation throughout its history,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette. “This is our way of saying thanks – not only to those who served; but to the families who supported them as well.”
The exhibits, mission and “heart” of Patriots Point are embodied by its key promotional message, “Walk in the Steps of Heroes.” When visiting Patriots Point, or supporting one of our events or programs, you are truly walking in the steps of these heroes, and learning about the contributions they have made in a way that will leave a lifelong impression.
