This month, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will welcome Top Shelf Catering Company, a subsidiary and partner of Sticky Fingers Smokehouse, as its new food service provider. Top Shelf Catering was awarded the five-year contract with Patriots Point, becoming its exclusive food service contractor for on-site dining, and for all programs and events that take place at the Museum.

Top Shelf Catering offers a full range of varied menu items, going beyond Sticky Fingers’ renowned barbecue. They will be the exclusive meal provider for all events on-site, Patriots Point snack bars, the CPO Lunch Galley on the YORKTOWN, and to the thousands of campers that participate in Patriots Point’s overnight youth camping programs on a weekly basis. Those visiting the Museum will be able to enjoy this legendary barbecue at Sticky Fingers Smokehouse Express, the name of the two snack bars located on site. One is landside by the ticket window, and the other in the Hangar Bay of the USS YORKTOWN.

“Sticky Fingers is without a doubt a favorite throughout the southeast. We know our daily visitors, campers, and guests of all events will enjoy the award-winning cuisine of Sticky Fingers and Top Shelf Catering,” said Mac Burdette, Executive Director of Patriots Point. “It is just another reason to come spend the day and enjoy the complete Patriots Point experience.”

20th_2color_NFSticky Fingers Smokehouse was established in 1992 in Mt. Pleasant, and has since expanded to include 16 restaurant locations in the southeast region. Established this year, Top Shelf Catering is an extension of that brand, including an array of menu choices not offered at Sticky Fingers locations. Sticky Fingers looks forward to this new opportunity in its city of origin.

“We are thrilled to be an integral part of one of the nation’s premier tourist attractions. The opportunity to showcase our legendary smoked meats and customer service to the hundreds of thousands of visitors the USS YORKTOWN attracts is invaluable,” said Robert Patterson, Operating Partner at Sticky Fingers Smokehouse. “Additionally, we look forward to providing an affordable five star catering service through Top Shelf that includes delicious food and professional service.”

It is estimated that this partnership will generate $2.5 million, with Patriots Point earning 20% of the revenue received on site, not including venue rentals.
