USS YORKTOWN ASSOCIATION 2022 Reunion

40 veterans who served aboard the USS Yorktown returned “home”. During the USS Yorktown Association’s reunion, Patriots Point welcomed veterans who served on the Fighting Lady from the start of her service in 1943 until she was decommissioned in 1970. The highlight of the reunion was the Meet & Greet held on the ship’s hangar deck. Veterans who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam were all in attendance, with the oldest veteran about to turn 102-years-old! The USS Yorktown Association reunion was postponed the last two years due to the pandemic and veterans say they were excited to return to Patriots Point with their families.
