‘Scrappy’ Named Mascot at Patriots Point

After many decades, an old friend has returned to his home, the USS Yorktown.  Scrappy, the lovable dog that was once the true pet of those on board The Fighting Lady is now the mascot of Patriots Point.  The reveal took place Friday, October 18th with members of the Patriots Point Development Authority Board introducing him to visitors and preschoolers from Gateway Academy Child Development Center. Scrappy will be seen at community events as well as at special events at Patriots Point.
