Spring tide at Patriots Point

Today is a very busy one at Patriots Point with over 1000 school and adult visitors scheduled to arrive for educational programs and tours of our ships and aircraft.  The weather is sunny and the temperature will be 83 degrees today. Here we see one of our aircraft maintenance staff, Joe Campbell, doing a spring cleaning of an F-4F Wildcat.

One of our volunteers, Ed Walker, is seen here doing a program for a school group in Hangar Bay 2 and higher up on Yorktown our native Osprey’s are tending to their nest on the mast of Yorktown…a busy spring indeed…
