      A gray and white aircraft with a black nose, a red and black phantom shadow design on the tail, and the National Aircraft Insignia consisting of a five-pointed white star on a circular blue field with red, white and blue vertical stripes on the sides. The EA-3 Skywarrior has markings for the 'Navy' and the bureau number '146457.' 
The Douglas A-3 Skywarrior is a medium to long range, jet powered bomber constructed for use on aircraft carriers. The EA-3B variant was reconfigured for electronic reconnaissance and assigned to fleet reconnaissance squadrons.

      Originally created by the Douglas Aircraft Company at the US Navy's request of a strategic bomber, the A-3 Skywarrior was introduced in 1956. the EA-3B reconnaissance variants became the longest-serving Skywarriors and were essential recon tools during the Vietnam War.  
The Skywarrior arrived at Patriots Point in 2010 and is on loan from the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
