The Big Red Barn Retreat provides Post-Traumatic Growth-based training and services for veterans, active-duty military members, National Guard and Reserve soldiers, first responders, and their families.

Warrior Surf Foundation
The Warrior Surf Foundation, founded in 2015 by combat veterans and surfers in Folly Beach, South Carolina, offers free surf therapy, yoga, and wellness programs to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Their 12-week program combines experiential learning with psychological support to help participants build resilience, enhance mindfulness, and foster a strong sense of community.

Lowcountry Veterans
Lowcountry Veterans is a network that brings together veterans from across the Charleston area. It provides information on local services, social gatherings, and ways for veterans to stay connected to each other. This is an essential hub for veterans to find the support they need and participate in local events.
Operation Homefront
Operation Homefront is dedicated to building strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive—not simply struggle to get by—in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. They provide financial assistance, housing support, and recurring family programs to help military families
Operation Patriots Forward Operating Base (OPFOB)
OPFOB’s mission is to create meaningful, restorative experiences for veterans, active duty military, first responders, and their families through outdoor and recreational activities. By fostering peer connections in a relaxed, judgment-free environment, they help rebuild camaraderie, promote healing, and offer relief from daily struggles.

Veterans Bridge Home connects, leads, and advocates to ensure service members, veterans, and their families thrive. They provide tailored support, foster community integration, and build partnerships so every veteran is supported, respected, and connected to the community they served.
Upstate Warrior Solution
The mission of Upstate Warrior Solution is to connect warriors and their families to resources, guide them toward self-empowerment, and inspire the community to embrace them as valued neighbors. They serve all Upstate warriors—active duty, reservists, National Guard, and veterans—regardless of branch, discharge status, or life situation. Through face-to-face support, their advocates assess needs, link warriors to community resources, and help them set goals for their next mission in life.

Entrepreneurship and Business Support
SC Veterans Business Outreach Center
The SC VBOC focuses on three main areas: 1) delivering the Small Business Administration’s Boots-2-Business (B2B) program, 2) offering business consultations to our clients, and 3) connecting clients with our SBA Resource Partners. The B2B program provides essential entrepreneurship training to transitioning military members, their families, and National Guardsmen interested in starting or growing a business.
