Children are Invited to Trick-or-Treat on the Historic USS Yorktown
Help! We had a vacation planned for Charleston area and we’re leaving on Sunday from Michigan taking two days to drive down. We don’t want to waste our time, gas or money to find out that the naval museums we are coming to see are closed. We would not be going to patriots point until Wednesday. Do you think it will be back open? I thank you so much for your response.
Hi Anita, We certainly hope to reopen by Wednesday. It will be dependent on how long it takes for power to be restored to our property. We will be sure to keep the public in the loop as soon as we know when it is safe to reopen.
I am very empathetic toward the aftermath after Ian tormented your city and Patriot point. We have no idea what the situation is but we are hoping to visit Patriot point. Hopefully all will be fine but if not there will be another time.
What type of overnight camping do they have here? I have a 5th wheel.
Hi, we don’t allow camping in RVs overnight in our parking lot. The camping is a youth overnight program called Operation Overnight. Groups of ten people or more can stay on the USS Yorktown overnight.
