Our Community Salutes

Our Community Salutes of the Lowcountry, SC, will host its annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families onboard the USS Yorktown on May 16, 2024.
Doors open for check-in at 5:30pm.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
Speakers, to date, include:
- Major General Johnny Davis, Commanding General, U.S. Army Recruiting Command
- Command Sergeant Major Michele Jones (USA, Ret.)
- Master of Ceremonies: Rob Fowler, Charleston’s Storm Team 2 Award-winning Chief Meteorologist and Marine Corps Veteran
There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.
Suggested dress attire is business or business casual. Everyone must register to attend the event.
