Free admission for all veterans on 11 November 2016
In honor of all who have served our country, we will offer FREE admission to all veterans on Friday, November 11, 2016. Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum has been designated as an official Regional Site for the observance of Veterans Day 2016 by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Veterans Day National Committee.
Admission includes the opportunity to view the USS Yorktown CV-10, USS Laffey DD-724, USS Clamagore SS-343 and an expansive, 2.5-acre Vietnam Experience exhibit dedicated to telling the history of the Vietnam War in an immersive and educational way. In addition to the long-standing exhibits and Navy vessels, visitors can see the newest exhibits added by the museum including a Cold War-based exhibit in the Combat Information Center (CIC) of the USS Laffey, an interactive exhibit in the Engine Room of the USS Laffey, and see the recently lowered B-25 on the hangar deck of the USS Yorktown.
