Letters from the Front Memorial Day Observance

200500032098 copy2On May 26, 2014 Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will observe Memorial Day with a special event titled:

“Letters from the Front”


9:30 AM-10:30 AM

The public is invited to bring and read aloud authentic letters written by and for service men and women killed in the line of duty.

Specially selected letters from America’s wars will be read to showcase and honor the service men and women’s ultimate sacrifice throughout our nation’s history. Letters will be collected from the Civil War to present, and the public is invited to contribute their personal letters, honoring their lost loved ones who were killed as a result of combat.

Admission is free, and parking will also be free from 9:00 AM- 10:00 AM.
